I have created a couple of quickpages using designs by Sue Cummings. She is such a sweetie, I can't believe she gave me such a great opportunity! Here it is:

Backposting my POD...

Do you know why it took me so long to post my photo? It had nothing to do with quickpages and hybrid projects. I actually just couldn't choose... We went to the Royal Canberra show on Sunday and I took way too many pictures. I guess my photo of the day is this one:



that reminds me how great it would be if someone ELSE was taking the pictures so I could be on that photo too!!! Hopefully I will have my wish granted on Monday. I have a good web friend coming over to Canberra and she is an amazing photographer: Lanne. I am just hoping everyone is rested and happy for the day :)

I am NOT obssesing about that cut.... maybe just a little... ok, it is driving me crazy! I can't leave the room for one second I start freaking out "what if" he hits it again. SO I am keeping an extra careful eye on him 24/7... yes, it IS driving me crazy!

Lucas bashed his chin on the floor over the weekend (again, it was already cut). He was doing nothing naughty, just crawling. I think he is too old to still be crawling (15 months) and that is probably why he gets excited and tumbles. No stitches, which worries me, but the doctor didn't want to put him to sleep to do it. Anyway, I am rambling, all this to tell you: Isn't he still so very cute even with the bandaid on his face? :)

Photo a day (POD)

There is this 365 thing going on... I don't think I have enough time in my life to participate on something like that, but sure is interesting. So I decided to join in with Heidi Knight and the girls at Designer Digitals do a photo a day for as long as I am able to, hopefully at least a month!

I'll start tomorrow (because I just NEED to procrastinate some! LOL)

Growing up fast

Happy Valentines Day.... I certainly didn’t celebrate it though, which is a pity, but I had a busy day and actually got into the PA Fundrasing Comittee for Mateus’ Pre School. We had a meeting tonight... can you believe it? LOL I guess we are boring people that live for their kids, seriously!!!

Anyway, let’s talk about something more interesting, shall we? Mateus first day of school today... WOW, my baby went to Pre school! And he wanted to go. And he was fine when I said I would go and come pick him up later. And he said “bye mom” with a big smile. And when I came back, he saw me outside and escaped the teachers to run and give me a huuuuge hug and tell me everything they have done. I felt like crying! Another page in our lives, a new chapter begins. I think this is just crazy! I am overwhelmed by the whole thing... and so proud of him... oh... my little boy :)

Why do I suck at blogging?

Well well well, I think the REAL question is: Why do I have to procrastinate all the time. Even I am tired of this... why do something now if it can be done 2 min later? LOL That is just crazy. I have had lots of post ideas, and things I wanted to share, even if just scrapbook pages, but I never sit down and WRITE... why? I have other projects too, some are sooooo cool, but instead I go browsing the internet or spend ages doing something else I just came up with. It is hard to understand, if I hate this attitude in others, why do I do it? Today I finished up some forms one hour before Mateus’ interview at school... I have had them for 4 months. Letters, I have a list of people I want to write to... one of them is on my list for almost 2 years. Why Why why :( I just wanted to be more proactive, and I know I have wanted to do it for a long time. Hopefully, getting back to work next month will do it for me. I guess I work better under *more* pressure.

I went to the beach on the Australia Day holiday. We had fun and I have loads of gorgeous pictures to scrap... but where is the time for it? :)
